Serial chart filtering map content

I'm following up on this thread https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-questions/serial-charts-no-longer-able-to-filter-map-content/td-p/1047576

I haven't been able to find any update from ESRI since April 2021.

Filtering map content from serial charts ONLY works on HOSTED feature layers. Does anyone know when will there be a solution for feature services?
