Ik heb verkiezingsresultaten die worden gegeven op blokcode-niveau (blokcode is een verzameling van ongeveer een paar honderd huizen). Elk blok krijgt een 8-9 cijferige ID toegewezen (zoals 153040101)<\/P>
<\/span><\/P>Dit is een korte voorbeeldtabel van de verkiezingsresultaten.<\/P>Ik wil de verkiezingsresultaten op een kaart weergeven op basis van elk specifiek scenario dat ik wil. Zoals dit:<\/P><\/span>(Shape Map Visual)<\/P>Deze kaart komt uit een JSON-bestand dat is voorbereid voor ArcGIS map.<\/P>Wanneer dit kaartbestand wordt geüpload naar een ArcGIS-account en gebruikt in Power BI, krijg ik de omlijnde blockcodes correct te zien.<\/P><\/span><\/P>Maar het probleem is dat ik geen informatie kan weergeven over deze blockcodes (of er zelfs mee kan interageren via filters in Power BI – zoals ik wel kon doen toen ik dezelfde kaart als shape map gebruikte.<\/P><\/span><\/P>Ik heb de functie 'join layer' gebruikt om blockcodes van de kaartlaag te koppelen aan blockcodes uit mijn eigen gegevens in de tabel. Ik heb 'Interact with Power BI visuals' ingeschakeld, maar het werkt niet.<\/P>Mijn gewenste resultaat is om de visuals te krijgen zoals ik die kreeg toen ik shape map visual gebruikte, maar dan op ArcGIS.<\/P>Alle hulp hierbij wordt zeer gewaardeerd.<\/P>
Currently, PBI doesn't support polygon joins. What we end up doing is publishing the layer with the symbology to portal then adding it to PBI as a reference layer. The problem with this solution is that it disconnects it from your PBI data and other visualizations.

Have you tested this with publishing to a Power BI Gateway? I know that the address locations cannot be published, only Lat/Longs. This is a main requirement for our users.

No I have not tried Power BI Gateway, but i have tested through the Publish to a "Website or Portal" Embedded report.
Yes, you are correct that the Addresses fail when published. I tested in ArcGIS for Power BI "Embed and publish check" Tool under Settings.
After Publishing ->
What does work is the Custom Geometries. See below:
Embed check - coordinates - OK
Publish embedded report - OK
The only thing is that even if your data is share Publicly you still need to be logged into an ArcGIS, even if it's only a Viewer type, for this to work.
Maybe a solution for the Addresses is to run a ArcGIS for Power Automate process to Geocode and it will write the XY coord values to fields and then you can use that in the Lat Long coordinate fields.
