Hi Olivia , The source rasters on disk do not change but the pixel value in the mosaic items will be altered. So regardless of whether performing classification on the "Image layer" in the Contents or through ArcCatalog the analysis will be done on the color balance raster(mosaic items) not the source rasters on disk. Hi Paul , The train Deep Learning Model Tool is not available in ArcGIS Pro 2.4 . It was added in 2.5 . You would need to use the python api to perform training in 2.4. Hi Nick, The training api and tools use "transfer learning" to train our models which means your data needs to be 3 Band 8 bit. What I would suggest to make your dataset training capable, is to use a composite band tool/function on your dataset to make it 3 band( Here is some help How To: Convert individual raster bands into a color or multiband image ). If it is not 8 bit you can use the stretch function to make it 8 bit. Then run the Export training tool (using PASCAL VOC Objects option ) and then train your data. Hope this helps. Thanks Sangeet

Hi Nate, The parameters that you mentioned are specific to the Raster Function used for inferencing and since the function can be customized with any parameters , we havent documented any of them ,However padding, threshold and batch size are common parameters, here is a link where those parameters are explained in some detail. Hi Francis , The tool in ArcGIS Pro and the python API are essential the same . The tool may have a couple of new parameters(depending on which version you have ) which may not have found its way tot the API yet but like I said essentially they are the same.

Hi Mohammed, For training there are a no. of open source Frameworks such as Tensorflow , PyTorch , CNTK , etc. One of the them is the Tensorflow object detection api. The ArcGIS API for Python does provide some tools for training using SSD(Single Shot Detector). Here are some links to get started .
