I am attempting to update our tax parcel data using a table from our old AS400 CAMA system. when merging the two I get an error: Error: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'a18_rowid_ix1'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'sdeadmin.a18'. The duplcate key value is (59877, 92064). I cant find those values in the table so I am not sure how they are being duplicated. Has anyone tried to do this? do you have any tips or suggestions? Maybe a different approach I have over looked? Thanks, Ken

I have a M-1 related table (Sales) and a Polygon feature (Parcels) I want to create a point feature for the sales. If I join to the Parcels I only get the first sale to join but I need all of them. Is there any way to do this? They are related by the PIN and they do not have addresses in either to geocode with. I have taken the parcels and created a point feature, then used add X,Y to that and then joined that to the sales table and used display x,y data. Arcmap froze due to the size of the file.

the server the files are on is not a web server with that directory. does it have to be on a webserver?

I am trying to access Property cards in a folder using a path like this File:\\ServerName.Domain.local\foldername\filename.pdf it will not open the link even though chrome will open the file if you copy and paste it into the browser. I am not sure what I am missing. Ken

Sadly this is live data being collected through apps for animal control calls. I would love to see some sort of filter tool in WAB created to allow you use related features in a filter or query. it would mean one less attribute needed to be put in and duplicated. If they took and made the smart editor tools more robust and included everything you can do in attribute assistant in them and I could take the attribute from one related feature and put it in the other then it wouldn't require duplicating work by putting the same data in the same fields over multiple features.

Is it possible to filter a feature based on an attribute in a related feature? I want to only see the animals that are related to complaints with a status of Open. I can not find anything that will allow you to create a filter using related features or tables.

check layer list and turn off layers above the layer you are trying to edit. I found that I couldnt edit a point features geometry that was bellow a Parcel polygon feature on the layer list unless the parcel was either moved below the point layer or turned off.

I found that if a polygon feature is over the point feature that I can not edit the geometry of the lower layer. check the layer list and turn off layers above it and see if you can edit it then.

I am running into an issue where I have a parcel view (parcel feature service converted to a view in AGO) in my map and I am trying to edit a point that falls inside of the polygon and I am not allowed to move the feature. If the view is above the feature in the layer list I can not edit the geometry at all. if the view is bellow it is inconsistent in allowing me to move features. I am not sure if this is a browser issue or not. I am using Chrome.

second all of these! We are using a program for our animal control so having the ability to create our case numbers automatically and populate other attributes would cut time down in the field and allow our officers to be more efficient. This would then be extended to some investigation tools we are developing for the Sheriff.
