Hi Maxime, My immediate thought was to create another Urban model that acts as your archive model that you can duplicate your closed projects to and then remove them from your active model. I understand you have a lot of projects and an automated workflow for all selected projects would be the best solution. Would that work for your purposes?

Thank you @Scott_Harris . The suggestion about interpolating values in that post is what I am looking for. I don't feel hopeful that it will be added since the post is from 2011, but are there any plans for more options in editing z-values?

Hi @Scott_Harris , Yes, I'm aware that I can lift the vertices individually. What I'm trying to achieve is lifting only 2 to a desired z-value and then having the rest of the vertices inbetween interpolate to a value representing a line between the two lifted vertices.

That is not a solution to my issue as I don't know what the values are going to be for vertex 2, 3 and 4. Therefore I don't know the z-value to assign the vertices.

Hi, I have a situation where I have a polygon feature with x,y values for all vertices that I want to keep. Now I want to raise some of them and give them z value. However, I don't want to assign the z-value for all vertices manually since there are a lot of them. For example, I want to raise Vertex 1 (+ 1m) and Vertex 5 (+ 4m). Vertex 2,3,4 should then get a z-value assuming there is a straight line between Vertex 1 and 5. Is there a tool that I can use to achieve this? The only way I have found is to raise all vertices that should have a given z-value, then remove and again add vertices inbetween and move them back to x,y position. This would be an acceptable solution if there weren't so many vertices in my feature. Thanks in advance! /Max

Hi! I'm editing multipatches in ArcGIS Pro and was wondering if there are any way to symbolize or change editing symbols for vertices specifically for multipatches. There could be several vertices on the model, but they are invisible unless I mouse over them. It's hard to make complex shapes without the vertices visible. There should be a shortcut "T" but I assume this doesn't work when editing multipatches. Regards, Max

Hello, Using the Urban connector in ArcGIS Pro, I've been trying to fetch a scenario from a plan in my Urban model and encounter the following warning message. It only fetches the plan area and parcels for some reason and not future buildings. (No zones or overlays is expected) Again using the Urban connector, I've been trying to upload parcels into an existing plan scenario and I encounter the following error message. Maybe I'm missing something obvious here. 🙂 Regards, Max

Hi Keera, Thanks for the reply. Yes, downloading is a good option when creating visualization for 1 plan. What I'm trying to do is to be able to create a dynamic Indicator that looks at the metrics for all published plans + projects which displays one metric like Households for example. This is how the indicators for households, jobs and population worked before and it updated automatically when publishing new plans/projects to the public. Regards, Max

Hello! I'm trying to access the result of custom metrics used in published Plans and Projects to use them as Indicators, similar to how Jobs/Population/Household indicators worked before. From what I can tell, they are not available from the design plan or design project feature layers and have to be accessed somehow from the Urban database public view(?) or is it only exported web scenes? Would be happy if you could share some workflow preferably without leaving ArcGIS Online to summarize and present metrics. 🙂 Regards, Max

The plans were created early 2020 so that might be the issue then. I did manage to successfully upgrade the plans to my understanding and there were no particular error messages displayed. Urban did crash when updating one or two times but it worked when running the update again. There are no longer any available upgrades to be made in either the plans or the urban model settings. Here is the logfile after having run the "Save as" command in Urban. I'm using Chrome.

Hi @DominikAllemann Thanks for the reply. Option number one doesn't work for me as I can't see any other plans except ones that are "Public". They are old plans that were created before Urban design plans existed as items in AGOL(?). The only existing version is the public plan. Option number two should be the answer to create new design plans that I can edit however I get this error message: Even if I get this error, the design plan gets created, but no corresponding plan inside ArcGIS Urban. The feature layer that gets created is empty of data. I have opened the plan settings and updated everything there when prompted.

Hi Everyone, I followed the guide from the blog post and have followed all steps up to this point. After updating I can't edit my plan anymore, as there is no way of getting into edit mode. I can see the zoning areas of my scenarios, but no buildings. Thanks in advance for any help regarding this issue. 🙂 /Max

Hi Dominik, Thanks for the clarification. I just can't seem to find it even after I turned it on in "Settings". There are ideas saved so it has to be located somewhere... Update: I solved it. The file was created by another user 6 months ago which made it not appear for me and also it didn't show that it had been updated. /Max
