Hello there. I was able to delete a corridor scan from my Site Scan project. I first deleted the flight plan on the ArcGIS Flight app by going to "Flight Plans" and swiping to the left the flight plan I wanted to delete. Then, I synced the ArcGIS Flight project with the cloud by tapping the blue cloud icon at the top of the screen next to the project name and then selecting "Sync with Cloud". Once the spinning wheel stopped, I refreshed my browser with Site Scan Manager and the flight plan was removed. Let me know if this does not work for you!

Hello! I've screen-captured doing a QuickMap with some data I've collected before on my iPad: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEOlXCuTf1s For QuickMap to work properly, all images must be taken nadir (pointed straight down). QuickMap also works best for flights that are relatively high. Usually between 100 and 120 meters above ground. Once the QuickMap has been created, it can be toggled on when planning a flight by going into the "Overlays" tab and selecting "QuickMap". I've shown this in the video too.

I think that photogrammetry would work great for this use case providing the banks are visible from the air. If shrouded by trees and shrubs then a more expensive option like lidar would be required. The ArcGIS Flight app is compatible with that drone and camera. It would be awesome to try to fly a "corridor scan" with terrain follow turned on. It would track up and down the canal taking photos at an interval appropriate for Site Scan or Drone2Map to turn into a point cloud/mesh/DTM.

Understood. I guess I should have mentioned at the beginning is that feature parity is on the roadmap. There is some backend architecture work going on currently on the web side that has to be completed before implementing features that are required for the advanced flight planning the iPad provides today. Stay tuned!

Currently you can plan basic area or crosshatch flights in the browser using the Site Scan Manger web application. However, the best way to preplan flights is actually using the iPad in the office! That way you have access to all of the flight modes, 3D flight tools, and overlays. There is also LAANC capabilities within the app so you can submit right away. The flight plans are saved to the cloud, so anyone within your organization with an Operator privilege can execute it, even if they are using a different iPad than was used to plan the flight.

Sarah Ostertag thanks for the ideas! This looks like two ideas. The first one is a great point. And something we should consider once we start supporting lidar payloads with Site Scan for ArcGIS. The second is something that we've had requested before, and are taking steps towards an accurate terrain following functionality. Keep an eye out later this year for some feature updates in this space!

Can you send me a link to where you read that? It sounds like a typo to me! Site Scan always allows users to pause, cancel, return to home, or manually control the drone during an automated mission.

Nathan, When we created Site Scan, we realized that there was a need for a free, disconnected, app for Drone2Map users. We created Site Scan Esri Edition, now Site Scan Limited Edition, to fit the bill. From a developer's perspective, these two apps are identical save for a flag that limits LE from connecting to the Site Scan cloud (for processing, flight plan sharing, and fleet management). Thus when Site Scan updates, LE will update either at the same time, or with a two week delay due to additional testing. I have verified that both Site Scan and Site Scan LE are running version 4.0 which is the latest version. If your LE app is not showing the features listed in the 4.0 update, please check to ensure that the app is up-to-date in the app store. If you're seeing inconsistencies let us know and we'll look into it!
