Hello my name is Paul Conners! Where do you work and what is your role? I just started my role as GIS specialist and IT assistant at the City of Guymon in the panhandle of Oklahoma. My role is to facilitate projects and the needs of the staff with their GIS and mapping needs here in the city. I just started on June 1st, so my projects and work here are slowly coming at me. I am also responsible for maintaining the Water/meter readings using ArcGIS Pro. What GIS success have you had this year and what product did you use? My biggest success this year was completing my degree in Geography with a minor in GIS from the University of Oklahoma. Throughout my time at OU and in the GIS coursework we used ArcMap. I am now transitioning into using ArcGIS Pro, so I am very excited about that. What is your expertise (GIS related or not) and how can that help the community? I'd say my expertise lies with the use of Microsoft Office and using my problem solving skills to tackle GIS related projects.
