Susan, I see a few users are having similar issues. I can't reproduce on my end. Did you previously have the Beta version of Drone2Map installed? Also, what operating system are you using? I've seen similar issues with machines that had the beta version installed and running Windows 10. Any details you can provide would be help us troubleshoot. Thanks, Mark

Drone2Map outputs a point cloud in the format you choose. The default is a .las file. In order to load the point cloud into ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro, you need to create a LAS Dataset. An easy way to do this is using the Create LAS Dataset GP Tool. To create other surfaces from your LAS Datasets, use the the LAS Dataset to Raster GP tool. Check out this lesson on on Learn.arcgis.com for a typical workflow for making surfaces from LAS Datasets: http://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/extract-roof-forms-for-municipal-development/lessons/create-elevation-layers.htm

Hi Norman, I wrote this demo/tutorial with the workflow and steps to segment your imagery. Its a draft, but it should get you through the necessary steps. It was written for 10.3. There have been some improvements to 10.3.1 with additional tools to collect training samples. Mark

Hi Brian, I see this has been resolved, but I wanted inform you of an optional setting you can apply on the Add Rasters to Mosaic Dataset GP tool that will help you control the scale at which your images will display. In the GP tool under Raster Pyramid Options, if you change the Minimum Rows and Columns value from 1500 to something lower (say 500), it will utilize more levels of pyramids. Try it without building overviews and you'll likely see all your images when displayed in ArcMap. This value essentially controls your MaxPS. Then when you build overviews, you'll build less overview levels because your using your pyramids instead. The Raster Pyramid setting assumes you have pyramids or plan to build them with the Build Raster Pyramids checked in the GP tool. Think of it this way. If you're going to build pyramids, you may as well use them.

Harry, There are several premium imagery subscriptions through the ArcGIS Marketplace and they're fully integrated into ArcGIS Online. The vendors currently participating are DigitalGlobe, Airbus and Blackbridge. The best place to read about them is by searching for Imagery in the Marketplace https://marketplace.arcgis.com/ Mark ArcGIS Image Server ArcGIS Online
