We are looking to migrated from AWS to Azure in our Single Machine Deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise, version 11.3. We tried to migrate using az migrate before contacting ESRI support, and ran into several issues. Speaking with ESRI support, they recommend using webgisdr. Anyone have success doing this, or something similar. Any gotchas, beyond the documentation to be aware of. Our first initial installation was 10.5.1, meaning Enterprise Builder, Cloud Builder, etc was not available. Therefore the installation was manual (which I was not a part of at the time). I am not sure if I will need to install and configure each component manually for Enterprise on the instance in Azure, or if I can use Enterprise/Cloud Builder, then move content over using webgisdr. Any insights would be helpful.

Hello, similar to the post found here, https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-instant-apps-questions/url-parameters-to-filter/td-p/1216715/page/2, I have a hosted feature service, that has a ton of polygons. Instead of creating multiple maps, I want to use URL parameters to only show the one feature that I want to embed on a different site. Is this a possibility, without the workaround in the post that is referenced here?

Scenario: I have a hosted feature service, that contains thousands of polygons. In the attribute table, we identify several accounts, of whom those polygons belong to. For example: Account 1234 has 5,000 polygons, Account 5678 has 10,000 polygons, etc. So, in essence they are grouped by account. I would like to give access to each person who manages said accounts. The way I would know how to do this, is to create each user. Create separate web maps, separate web map applications, and grant access to that app to the one account manager. So each account would have a separate web map and application. This is fine if I have a few to manage. I have just under a 1000 accounts however. Question: is there a way to create One Web Map and One Application, and have several users have access to the Map, without them seeing other account information. Meaning, Account 1234 and Account 5678 can access the same application, but can not see each others data?

Hello. It would be one user at a time working with the datasets. Other then thinning of the data, and extracting what we want out of it, it wouldn't be used for our ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online accounts. After thinning and consolidating the data, we would just extract the Tabular Data and import to a Non Geospatial Database. If we set up File Geodatabases, they would be stored on a Network Volume/Drive at my company's datacenter.

Hello, question. We are looking to work on a project that involves parcel data involving multiple counties. The data will be used for basic geoprocessing (filtering, dissolving, merging of data), with only one or two editors, with one working on it at a time. It will just consist of feature classes, not raster information. We will not publish the data to ArcGIS Online nor ArcGIS Enterprise. With that said, because we are dealing with hundreds of thousands of data, will performance/usability be a concern if the data is housed in a File Geodatabase, rather then an Enterprise Geodatabase. I've worked point datasets in a file geodatabase that have 5 million records or more, and generally been fine. Essentially, what I am after, are there Performance differences between File or Enterprise Geodatabases. Or, are the gains with Enterprise Geodatabases mainly Multi-User Editing, Versioning, Use in ArcGIS Enterprise, etc.

This should be simple, but I may be missing something. I have a Shapefile that sits on my company local drive, that gets updated daily, which I then publish as a Hosted Feature Service in my Portal. I Overwrite the feature service once a day when I re-publish to Portal. As far as I can see, I can overwrite my content, by no one else can overwrite the content I publish. I've added the layer to a specific group, added specific group members with publisher access, added the ability to edit the data....but they can not see the layer when they try and overwrite it in ArcGIS Pro, because they are not the owner. Is this normal behavior, am I missing something?

Thanks....checked out one of my larger datasets in ArcGIS Online and the new Webviewer. Response was very impressive.

David, I reviewed the presentation, saw an option called Dynamic Feature Tiles? Is that a new option coming down the pike. I guess I haven't seen an option when sharing services (typical ones I've seen are used are hosted feature service, map services, vector tiles, etc). Is there more information on this? Thanks

Are there any plans to support Dynamic Map Services for different widgets in Experience Builder: such as the filter widget? I currently have a dataset that is in the tens of thousands of features, and run into performance issues when trying to publish it as hosted feature service. If not, any advice on getting better performance with a hosted feature service that has several thousand features?

That'll work. However, it the behavior/response is similar to a feature service, and not a tiled service. For most, it'll work. But when you have tens of thousands of features, a tiled map service performs better.

What's new—Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS | Documentation They haven't had an update since March of 2019. Any updates for the this product appear to be just about yearly. My guess is we probably won't see this function added. The other route would be to develop a custom application, but that takes significantly more resources then WYSIWYG apps. I feel the WYSIWYG apps ESRI offers gets you 75% of the way there, but that extra 25% ends up hurting the usefulness.

I know 10.8 is in the Pre-Release stage, so I assume it will be soon.
