Hi Ashley, if your budget supports an instructor-led class, our Introduction to Web Development Using ArcGIS API for JavaScript would fit your need the best. If you don't have the budget for the class, I suggest looking for an introductory-level book on JavaScript web development--there are many to choose from.
Suzanne Boden I'm a geographer in search of an ESRI technical certification in application development that progressing along a track designed to start from the bottom-up for people with zero programming experience. Specifically, I am looking to develop customized apps using the REST API & Javascript. Our organization has an account, and I am able to access classes that are free or require maintenance, and I know there are Dev Labs ~10 min long that teach snippet tutorials about specific functions/tools, but I'm looking for a more comprehensive training that integrates all the terminology to allow me to understand the big picture of web development & explains the basics for a novice like me. Suggestions? Thanks in advance
