Implement traffic data to VRP

Question

Hi,

I've created a four week schedule for a waste collection problem in the Vehicle Routing Problem. But to make the result reliable I need to implement live traffic or historical data. How do I do this? When I created the network dataset I used data from the Swedish Transport Agency.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hi Joakim,

There are really two parts to your question.  The first is getting traffic into a network dataset.  Do you know if yours already supports historical traffic?

As for VRP with traffic.  The solver itself is not set up to use traffic, but you can get traffic based times for your routes by using the directions output from VRP.
