Map in reports suddenly showing streets instead of hybrid view

Hi Everyone,

Hoping I can get guidance on this one.  This morning when my user generated reports we suddenly get maps with a "streets" view instead of the usual hybrid. I did not change anything on our end being the admin and the reports have been generating fine for the past several months it is just this morning that this suddenly happened. Is this an ESRI issue?

This is what we are seeing now in our generated reports. This is supposed to be in hybrid view.

It would be better to specify a web map item ID explicitly in the report template, see https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-print-web-maps-in/ba-p/1537166.  If not, the map could change based on the question design in the survey or the default map used in the org.

You sure someone didn't go into the map and change something? Do you have logging turned on?

This seems like it may be a user thing.

I was able to fix it by going to ArcGIS Online  Click "Map" to open the Map Viewer.

I saw that the default basemap has changed and returned it to hybrid and this fixed the problem.

Now i have these questions...

Is this normal? the settings would change it self? was there an update?
