We also have FME desktop and server but I’m not sure of the webhook capabilities. The ESRI connectors for both Power Automate and Make are unstable and unreliable. I’ll start looking at FME next.
I've found Make.com to be much more reliable compared to PowerAutomate, but the Survey123 Create Feature Report module still randomly errors from time-to-time. You can implement some error handling within Make to retry the report creation if it fails, but this isn't bulletproof. And this is not a Make specific problem. The issues appear to be caused by the web request sent to the Report endpoint randomly timing out, which is likely the cause for the instability on both Make and PowerAutomate platforms.
In addition to FME, you can also consider setting up a feature service webhook to trigger a notebook script (if on ArcGIS Enterprise, not AGOL) that generates the report and sends a email.
We had nothing but trouble with Make, and they would never respond to support emails so we moved on. I'm going back and forth with ESRI tech support on Power Automate, and making some progress. Although, every time I turn around there's a new bug that apparently hasn't been addressed in nearly a year. That includes the ability to grab coded domain values. No matter what, when I send an alert email I'm getting the code value (site ID) returned instead of the description field (site name). I was told this was to be addressed last summer before the UC. Still an issue.
This isn't a criticism necessarily so much as an honest question: Other software has native/built-in automated process type stuff - why doesn't ESRI? It seems like something that should be included in the AGO/Portal suite (although truly, I'd pay a fair bit even if it was an extension, just to save the headache of dealing with these third-party platforms).
So I just spent 45 minutes on the phone with ESRI tech support trying to deal with all the errors in the Enterprise connectors at 11.3. I've been working with tech support for two weeks now. Today the tech said and I quote: "Power Automate is kind of a niche product so we don't have a lot of resources on our end." REALLY?? We purchased a premium Power Automate license to use these connectors to alert our school district security department about things like weapons or suspicious devices or people on campuses, and they just barely work or are otherwise unreliable. Respectfully, I would love to hear about what's going on with Power Automate from @SeanKMcGinnis or @AnthonyLatini
@ZachBodenner I’ve wondered about this too.
For example, with IBM Maximo, all the automation is built right into the product. No third party apps needed.
