Thanks for asking. Actually, there is no fixed file size limit of KML/KML in ArcGIS Earth, but the Performance depends on the complexity of the data and the system memory.

In the coming version ArcGIS Earth V2.5, the performance of large KML file has been significantly improved. For example, in the following screen recording, ArcGIS Earth is loading and displaying a KML file of 172M, and it looks good in performance.
Just for your reference, hope this enhancement in V2.5 will give you greater confidence in loading large KML in ArcGIS Earth.

Hi Geoffroy,

Thanks for your feedback. This is a very good question.

We have some performance issues with large datasets and we are working on how to improve the performance. Most of those issues are related to feature layers with tons of features and this is also similar to your case of GPKG.

You helped to list different data types for the recommended maximum file size, and I think you are well aware of different data types have different behaviors. For example, we have tested 150G+ SLPK and it works well on Earth. However, as you mentioned, some 60M KMZ could slow down Earth.

We will do more tests and summarize related information. After that, we will sync up with you.
