I want to delete a line point that definitely shouldn't exist. There isn't a point under it, visually or in the traverse grid. The brown line in the image should just be a continuation of the NW/SE black line without that jog that the unnecessary line point creates. The "Delete Line Point" tool won't select it, but I can highlight it when I have… (Show more)

Versioning considerations for the parcel fabric feature adjustment With a protected DEFAULT why not support child and grandchild versions? With only one version level below DEFAULT the reconcile & post can conflict with other editors in the enterprise. Example: DEFAULT (Protected) PostEditor1 (public and owned by an account that can create… (Show more)

Hi there,    I have not found any mention of spatial reference in the help file for associated features, but I noticed that one can associate layers to the parcel fabric that are in a different projection than the fabric. Are there any considerations that need to be made as far as the spatial reference of associated features? Do they need to… (Show more)

Click to view content  We are trying to join this polygon into our parcel fabric after editing the traverse grid. The polygon closes just fine but when we try to join points to the surrounding polygons, the shape and orientation of the polygon changes and pulls the points of the adjacent polygons towards it. We think the funky join has to do with this orange dot that… (Show more)

Problem Context: I'm working right now on several highway plats. Part of this process in my county is designating certain parcel lines as Road Frontage so their symbology is different from a parcel boundary line. Working the highway plats necessitates making some changes to existing parcels. There are instances in which a parcel is drawn with a… (Show more)

If you've ever used the Curves And Lines Add-in for ArcGIS Desktop to convert densified lines into circular arcs, then you may be interested in a new geoprocessing tool that was introduced with ArcGIS Pro 2.1.   This new gp tool can be found in the Editing toolbox and it is called Simplify By Straight Lines And Circular Arcs.   Check it out!

I am experiencing some issues with the parcel fabric editing environment. I am the parcel editor for my local government. I maintain our cadastral tax parcel base, among other things. The problem I am experiencing has to do with the lines changing bearings and distances on their own. I'm not sure what is going on here, but even after I go back and… (Show more)
