ArcGIS Online Assistant and ADFS Authentication

We use ArcGIS Online Assistant today to promote web apps and maps from test service links to production and it works great. We have recently setup a Portal for ArcGIS that uses ADFS authentication and we'd love to keep using this useful tool. Are there any plans to enable this type of authentication in the future (all I see today is PKI and IWA)?
