Hello,
I am attempting to install this patch: Portal for ArcGIS 2026 Update 1 Patch which was released on 5/6/2026 on a brand new 11.5 deployment. I attempted to install it via the Patch notification tool and also downloading the file separately. In both cases, it lets me know that its downloaded and installed but when I go back to the patch notification window, I see it listed again as Available Updates. It isn't listed under the Installed Patches section either. It is on Windows 2022 server that is also up to date on patches.
The portal is NOT FEDERATED yet. I was hoping to get all the updates in place and then federate it.
I have given all the folders the permission ( full control) to the service account, restarted the machine, restarted the portal service, and verified there is enough space. I have also not been able to use the validate tool since it isnt available for 11.5. I haven't been able to find others having the same issue and am hoping for a workaround here before opening an ESRI ticket.
