Texas Land Surveying Sytem

Question

Does anyone know where I can find a shapefile like the PLSS shapefile available for Louisinana, but for Texas instead?  Any help on this matter would be extremely appreciated. Thank you.

You can also try the General Land Office, GIS Maps & Data .

Texas does not use the PLSS -- it has its own system for land surveys based on early Spanish land grants.
