ArcGIS Poral DataStore Layers tab not responding

We have a datastore (sde connection) created on Portal. The "layers" tab is supposed to display all feature/map services created from the sde connection. For some reason, the "Layers" tab is not responding and nothing is displayed:

We've tried to reboot the server and Portal machines and stop/start the system publishing tool but didn't fix anything. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? BTW, the ArcGIS Enterprise version is 10.9.1.

Chen, were you able to identify the cause of this issue? We are experiencing the same problem in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.1.

Additionally, we’re seeing a 400 error: 'User folder does not exist.' Any insights on this would be greatly appreciated.

No, there are no items in the directory with name 'null'.

@ChenChen4 Have you noticed any items in the directory with name 'null' at all? If so, you may only need to delete that item from the portal content folder (No need to delete all items).

Hello Thomas,

Yes I can see layers from the REST service directory and the published folder on Portal. I know if I delete all bulk published items and the sde, and then re-create the sde, I am able to re-publish bulk published items. The problem is that we do not want to lose the current portal item ids for 400+ layers. I have submitted a support case for Esri to troubleshoot.

Did you try to look at the datastore folder as the owner of the datastore?

1. Is the validation part showing success (from settings)

2. https://yourdomain.com/portal/sharing/rest, then look for user content > folders

See whether items in the datastore are listed here.

If that works, look for any items with name as 'null'. You can do a wild search for 'null' and that will show if any are listed. Note the item id (long string) and try to find the item in the portal content under organisation.

If that item exist, it may be that you can't see the contents. You might need to remove it from the items (that is altogether a different process).

See whether this helps at all.
