Convert hosted feature class into separate items for a Gallery App

Is it possible to use a Survey123 form to collect features to a hosted feature layer in AGO, then automate somehow a conversion into individual items in AGO to use in a Gallery App?  

Idea - build a gallery of map submissions for a contest.  User submits via the Survey123 form.  The form information becomes the bases for a new one off layer that is prepopulated by that form in the "Summary" section and the Title of the feature. This way each submission gets its own card in the gallery that is prepopulated upon the users submission.

I am pretty sure there is not, but it would be a cool idea for lots of reasons.

Survey submissions create features against a hosted feature layer. Rows in a table. While there is a world to convert them to items (python API) I don't see it being a great path.

Would instead recommend 'data driven' Story Maps or another app. Here you have an application (Story Map) showcasing features (Survey submissions) that can scale up as more are submitted. Here's an example of what it would look like:
