How to enable AGOL log-in/accounts on a Portal

Hi All:

I am helping to administer an organizational Portal that utilizes a SAML/Azure-based network credential login (Enterprise login) for our users (users are able to log into the Portal using the same credentials that they use to log into our computer network). We've been having issues with that login for a while and I'd like to setup an alternate ArcGIS/AGOL login for times when it is not working. The previous admin had setup an alternate login for specific users (they are using some specialized 3rd party apps that apparently do not work as well with an Enterprise login). I cannot figure out how to setup this alternate type of login for other users. Any tips would be appreciated!
