The Esri JavaScript API 3.16 had added editing functionality to the Attribute Table widget. Can this functionality carry over into later relases of WAB?

@CesarAvila The Table widget and some capabilities may not be available in earlier versions of Portal. I believe the Table widget will only be in Experience Builder for portal editions 10.9 and later.
If you are using an earlier version of Portal you may also use the latest edition of Experience Builder developer edition to get this widget.

Is it me or the "Table widget' on the ArcGIS Experience Builder is not showing?
According to this blog, it's supposed to be on the "Basic" Widgets. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/experience-builder/latest/configure-widgets/widgets-overview.htm
You are now be able to edit attributes in the table in the new Map Viewer, and in the Table widget in ArcGIS Experience Builder .
Any news about this? Come on ESRI, since 2016 people had ask for this! time to make it happen!!!!!
I get the feeling that WAB will see somewhat limited improvements going forward; Esri seems to have pivoted to Experience Builder. I haven't worked much with EB, and there are plenty of bugs that they need to work out with that one, but it does seem more flexible and like it's going to be around longer. There is a Table widget (I know because they introduced a significant bug related to it in the latest AGOL update, but then did resolve that within a week), and maybe it's more functional than the one in WAB...

This is still unavailable? Please make editing an attribute table by users available. So the app I have built and shared with others can be updated by them - the users, not me.
I read a lot of info on "editing in a Web App", none of it pertinent. Then I refine my googling or esri searching to "Edit feature Service in a Web App", read and learn a bunch more, none of it pertinent, then I refine my search again, "editing an attribute table in an esri web app", more reading and re-learning none of it pertinent, I have not even added that I need to share this web app with others of course you share a web app, and share it possibly outside my organization. I need to have them edit a few items in the table not edit geometry, not edit the app itself, and not do anything but add some text to the attributes in the table. The most frequent answer I get is just make the Feature service editable. Which is not a complete answer. Then what? Create a group - offer temporary esri profiles to users, stumble on this old thread for this issue to be addressed and "Kudo" it? This is rather unacceptable.
Years later and still looking for this functionality for use in Portal.
Does anyone know is it in the Production Plan?
I just started creating web apps with WebApp Builder and was shocked to find that I couldn't edit an attribute table! For our use it would be so much easier than having to click on each feature to get a popup to edit. I would have thought this would have been included years ago!

This would be great functionality and a great feature to add to WebAppBuilder. Why can attributes be edited in the pop-up window within WebAppBuilder but not within the attribute table?
This would have many beneficial uses in our organization.

If there's a response from Esri I'll report back here.
Would provide excel like experience to end users and scale up usage and buy-in.

It is hard to believe that this functionality has yet to be implemented. These simple but powerful resources like contingent values and table editing really need to be added.

Agree. And, if we could clear out attachments in this way (ALL attachments and photos) or somehow, all in one fell swoop on AGOL. That would be very essential in order to use AGOL for damage assessment. Basically, I would like to see the webmap and the WAB attribute tables have a Field Calculator and essentially replicate how it works in Arc.
I would vote this up 5000 times if I could. This capability would solve so many internal requests for me. Please do this ASAP.
Another vote for this functionality. This would really assist in our workflow.
I would also like to see editing capability added to the attribute table in WAB for users of the app the same simple way that we can edit in the attribute table of the web map. I'm designing a map for users familiar with spreadsheet editing and simple need to change attribute data to see the choropleth map updated when they make the edit to the attribute being mapped. No selecting or geometry editing required in my use case, and those options as provided in the Batch Attribute Editor would confuse my audience.
I would like to see this because the attribute table allows for advanced sorting with a familiar spreadsheet interface. And also hopefully this will allow batch editing.
Hopefully this will be soon developed and ready for the ESRI Community. +1000 for bumping it to the ArcGIS Ideas.

Yes, I need a way to edit 1-150 related records easily. If you could edit in the Attribute Table widget, that would solve my problem.

Agreed, problem manager is limited in other ways as well, I too turned back to WAB. The following worked best for me: Adding smart editing and batch editing widgets, in a web AppBuilder using the dashboard theme. That way they can be docked in the side panel, providing improved accessibility. But direct editing in the table widget would still be much preferred.
The app you are suggesting was my first choice. However, I tried this template but we have 259,000+ records that need editing and the app would stop responding. The data never loaded and the user never say anything to edit. I had to dump/delete it and go with WAB so that users had something to edit.
I totally agree with this as a need. However, in the mean time, check out the Citizen Problem Manager solution template, which provides improved user experience for table-based editing (better than the smart editing/batch editing WAB widgets). This template doesn't really need to be deployed on top of a citizen problem reporter - you can deploy it on any of your maps where you want to leverage these editing functionalities. To get filtering options on the table, as in this example, take a look at this helpful post.
Could you please enhance table to allow cell edits if allowed by admin.
This would add great amount of value to Web App Builder.

Has there been any more talk of this? We have a very great need for this. I don't understand why you can edit in the Attribute Table in a WEB MAP, but not in a WEB APP? This doesn't make sense.

Please enable attribute editing and field calculate to WAB attribute table widget. This is similar to functionality that is already possible in AGOL Web Maps through the default Map Viewer.
Clients have been requesting this over and over again. It makes sense.
We also need this functionality in our Esri Maps portal.
there is no other convenient way to edit Layers with Thousands of records.
we must have the option to Edit in the Attribute Table !!!!
