OK - this "feature" really, really, annoys me in Google Maps, and now I am using Explore again, it annoys me in Explorer.
The "feature" of rotating the map based on a two finger gesture - I am forever rotating the map when I am zooming in.
Very few people I know use anything other than a "North is up" approach to maps, so this really can't be used that much. But an option to disable it would be really nice.
