Survey attachments not opening when emailed through Power Automate

Question

I have a Power Automate flow that generates a survey report and emails it as a PDF whenever a survey is submitted. The flow also sends the survey attachment (doc/docx/pdf) in a separate email, using the following steps Survey123 attachments in Microsoft Power Automate (esri.com)

The report and attachments are emailed just fine, but I can't seem to open the attachments. I always get the below errors.

I was having a similar issue with the pdf attachments. I resolved the issue:

If you look at the input log to your email action on a previously succeeded flow, the file name may be missing .pdf from the end of it. You can manually add this in the Attachment Name field in the email action.
