Help with .shp, .kml, .kmz upload on Survey123

Question

Created a Survey123 to gather fire perimeter data from field units and noticed that the upload feature doesn't support .shp, .kml, .kmz file type. This seems pretty silly and maybe I am missing something. If anyone has any ideas, I would certainly appreciate the help.

I know this is a very old post but I had the same question just recently and I don't think anything has changed. You would figure .shp or .gpx at the least would be an option as this is an ESRI product.

Hi @amassucco ,

Survey123 uses attachments in feature service to store files for image or file questions (Image or File upload in the web designer). Currently, .shp, .kml, .kmz are NOT supported by a feature service. Raising an ticket to Esri Support could help on the progress.

In the meantime, you can upload any files as a .zip package, this should be a workaround to collect such files in Survey123.
