ArcGIS Pro 2.5: Unchecking the “add to display” option for stand-alone tables outputs doesn’t remove them from the content pane,

Question

I observed that unchecking the “add to display” option for stand-alone tables outputs doesn’t remove them from the content pane.

In return, this works fine when it comes to checking\unchecking layers output. They are added and removed nicely

Is this a filed bug or by design?

The table isn't in the 'Display', so it doesn't remove it.  It is in the table of contents though
