Allow exposing domain values in Service Capabilities for a view fields

Views are quite frequently needed to to join tables and feature classed and expose such structures as services in the ArcGIS for Server instance. Currentlty, there is no "direct" way (i.e. without creating some additional structures/tables)  to associate domain values with the view's fields or just "plain" functionality to expose domains values using service capabilities in the ArcGIS for Server instance.

Additionally, view properties panels allow one to select domains for the field but the "apply/ok" process rejects it. If this feature is not allowed then a domain entry for a view's field should be greyed out.
