Unable to Open Map - Invalid XML

Question

We are having issues loading maps in Explorer, pretty well every map displays "Unable to open Map - Invalid XML" upon trying to open.  I believe this has been a random problem in the past but now all maps will not load.

All of these maps worked perfectly in the past.

Hey Robert Thomson‌,

Are you still running into this issue? Is there any chance the maps that won't open are using WMTS as their basemap? There is a known limitation for WMTS layers and this is the error you would see in the case where the basemap is using one of these layers.
