Collector app - place point manually?

Is there a way to collect a point without the app using my 'current' location.  Even after adjusting accuracy to 5m (the best it will let you),  I am not able to place the point manually at the exact spot I know a sample has just been collected.  Is there a way to override this and place the point myself?

You can tap on the map to mark the location of the point instead of using your GPS position.  If you long press on the map, you get a magnifier that allows you to more precisely choose the location.   (You can also start with the "Collect here" option, which I described in a blog post yesterday.)
