Saving High resolution images from portal map

Question

We have a requirement from an end user to be able to export high resolution PNG (or similar style images) from ArcGIS portal. If the user zooms in on a current PNG format file, it gets grainy really quickly. Effectively, the user wants to be able to put together a presentation where they can zoom in some on a PNG image and be able to see greater detail than the 96 DPI that is rendered by default.

Is there anyway to do this from the Portal/ArcGISOnline environment?

You can look into using your own printing utility service within Portal, also described here.  You can follow this doc for more advanced ways to print maps.
