Intermittent Slow Response from Cached Service

Question

Hi All,

I am trying to track this issue with one of the cached map services running on ArcGIS Server 10.3/Windows Server 2012 R2. Service response time is very high at certain times, I wanted to know what may be causing this behavior. I managed to get some information from logs that shows the issue.

Sanjay,

Check for antivirus or other security software interference on the cache storage location or on the ArcGIS Server machines in the site.

Hello Sanjay,

To resolve such type of issue have multiple solutions,

1) Upgrade your ArcGIS server version with latest one 10.4.1.

2) Increase you cache map service instance pooling values

3) Check your database connection status and windows server process like CPU, RAM

4) Increase your hardware resources.

Above points are help you to improve service performance.
