Is Oracle Spatial a good combination for GIS? I would like to know the scope and job opportunities?Can anyone please throw some light on this?

Oracle spatial provides many GIS tools, You need programming skills to use Oracle spatial GIS functionality or else you will become another regular database user.
You will have good chances if you develop programming skills
