ArcGIS based alternative for TransCAD?

Hello, I was asked recently for ESRI based alternatives for TransCAD, either from ESRI or by 3rd part. TransCAD is a software by Caliper, designed specifically for use by transportation professionals to store, display, manage, and analyze transportation data. Thanks for participation!

It depends on what you need to do with TransCAD. TransCAD is a "full featured" GIS integrated with travel forecasting software. Do you need software for travel forecasting? If so, then there are no obvious Esri alternatives. However, there are other travel forecasting software vendors like Citilabs that integrate somewhat with Esri ArcGIS.
