Changing the minimum scale of a arcgis service

We are trying to change the minimum scale that is displayed on a consumed service (not our ArcGIS service)? Any ideas?

Hi Alexis,

If you are adding the service to a web map, you can set the visibility for the service there.

Set visible range—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS
