Geoform requires editable feature in Portal, but my hosted feature is editable?

Question

I'm attempting to make a Geoform to edit a feature service in Portal for ArcGIS. I am receiving the error here:

However, my layer is set to be editable. What could be causing this issue? Am I missing something about how to set up the hosted feature?

After further research it appears that polygon features are not usable in the GeoForm... is that correct?

Thanks for the reply. That didn't seem to work. I am still not able to select a layer. I modified the editing capabilities in Portal after publishing the service from ArcMap. Do you think I need to publish it as editable rather than changing the permissions after the publishing? I'll go ahead and give that a try..

I'd try unchecking the Enable Sync option and see it that makes a difference.
