My idea is to add a switch parameter to the patch msi installer to allow me to control when the arcgis server or portal service from stopping before the patch is applied and restarting again after the patch has been applied.
Eg. If I have 3 portal patches to install, I want to stop the portal service, wait for the machine to become unhealth and get dropped from the ALB, apply the 3 patches and restart the service and wait for it to become healthy to start accepting user traffic again.
