Survey123 and ArcGIS Enterprise - scan attachments for malware

Hi everyone,

As we know, attachments submitted to ArcGIS Online through Survey123 for ArcGIS are scanned for viruses and malware in accordance with FedRAMP accreditation.

I’m curious to know if this capability is also available in ArcGIS Enterprise. If not, has anyone implemented a similar approach or can share guidance on how to enable malware scanning for image or PDF attachments uploaded through Survey123 projects?

Hi @JAtanacioEsriMX,

When you upload attachments in ArcGIS Enterprise they are stored here: C:\arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem\arcgisuploads\scratch

If you check the ArcGIS Enterprise Antivirus Guidance which can be found in trust.arcgis.com under Customer Exclusive Documents, you will see that the arcgisserver\directories\arcgissystem\arcgisuploads should not be excluded from virus scanning.
