Problem using shapefile point samples in supervised classification schema

Hello everyone,

I am trying to perform supervised classification to classify land cover from a Sentinel image. I already have my own training samples stored as point features in a shapefile.

However, I am facing a problem related to the classification schema. I want to use the samples from the shapefile as training classes in the schema, but it is not working properly.

Does anyone have advice on how to correctly use shapefile samples in the classification schema for supervised classification?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the problem?

If it is shapefile related, converting the shapefile to a featureclass in a file geodatabase might solve it.
