We would like to create an app within Portal for viewing image attachments and had planned to use the Instant App Attachment Viewer template. Clicking on points with attachments in a standard web map seems to display images at their original resolution but when they are viewed via the app they appear to be degraded to a width of 800 pixels.
When we open the images in a new tab, we can see that a parameter has been automatically added to the end of the URL "&w=800". Removing this appears to display the original image or at least one of better resolution.
We are unfortunately stuck with Enterprise 10.9 although hopefully our IT department will upgrade us to 11.5 later this year.
- Is this a feature peculiar to 10.9 that we won't have to worry about in 11.5?
- Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?
- Are there any workarounds that we could employ so that users see images at their original resolution?
