Media layer not deleted after delete the parent project

Question

After deleting a project in ArcGIS Urban, the uploaded media layers (such as site layouts) still exist. Is this a bug, or is it by design? I am concerned that if users trial and test the system, they may end up storing many unnecessary files that no one needs.

The only way to clean up unused media layers is through the ArcGIS Online Content Manager. We’ll add your suggestion to our list of potential product improvements.

Thanks, @ThierryWeber Is there a tool to clean up these unused media layers? Alternatively, should ArcGIS Urban automatically add a tag to those layers upon project deletion so admins can track them down? Media layers can eat up a lot of credits long term. I feel that since the release of the Recycle Bin, the risk of data loss is much lower than before.
