Yes, I just tried again. Uninstalling and then reinstalling the Web Adaptor. The Web Adaptor is 10.1 SP1. I think the ArcGIS Server is also. The software authorization page shows the software version as 10.1.1.
Can you navigate to this endpoint: http://<arcgisserver>:6080/arcgis/rest/infoCan you tell me what it says in current version and full version please? Thanks-Justin
No luck. I unregistered the web adaptor from the admin page. Then registered it again. If I register it from the admin page I don't get an error. If I register from the webadaptor page I get "Unable to register the GIS server with the Web Adaptor. Please make sure that the GIS server machine is running and that the account specified has administrative privileges to the site."Though it will show up from the admin site, if I then go to the adaptor config page it still says no GIS servers are registered.
I have the same problem..is there a solution (I have done all the suggestions on this thread)T
I never got the linux adaptor to work. You can install a windows web adaptor and point it at the linux server and that works without any problems.
Hello Everyone,The issue is most likely permissions. It seems that the config cannot update itself for whatever reason. Does your ArcGIS Install user have rights to the directory housing the web adaptor war file? Thanks-Justin
