Backup Issue with Object Datastore Post Migration

Question

Hi Team,

We have successfully migrated the tile cache services to the Object Datastore. Now, I need to take a backup of the Object Datastore and restore it on the new machine running Windows Server 2022.

We are using the backupdatastore.bat tool located at:
C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\DataStore	ools>backupdatastore --store Object

However, we are encountering an issue. The backup process is taking significantly longer than expected. For reference:

* Relational Datastore Backup: Took 16-17 hours for approximately 200 GB of data.
* TileCache (before migrating): Took 20 hours for approximately 250 GB of data.
* Object Datastore Backup: Data size is approximately 250 GB, but it has been running for over 28 hours and only 12 folders have been created in the backup directory so far.

Please advise if there are optimization options or troubleshooting steps, we can follow to ensure the backup completes efficiently or quickly.
