Ability to Sign Out and then Sign In as another user

The field maps app behaves in a bizarre manner. I can sign out, but when I click sign in I'm not offered anywhere to input a username or password. Instead I'm signed back into the same account I just signed out of.

If I can click sign in, and it doesn't ask for a password or username, then was it ever really signed out? This isn't secure and it isn't usable by more than one user account.
