LAS Statistics to raster not working while filter applied

Hello,

I'm trying to run the LAS Statistics to raster tool on a .lasd file, where I apply different filters. The idea is to get a sense of point density based on those filters. However, no matter what filter I apply, I always get the same result...

Now, I was under the impression that those filter options where not just for display. Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible to use the filters for tool actions?

It turns out that the method applied was the problem. I was choosing "Pulse count" since I wanted the last returns. But since I was already applying similar filters on my file, the output was pretty much always the same. I had to select "Point count" to get what I was looking.
