Hi everyone,
I am relatively new to ARCGIS Pro, but have recently been taken on in a junior level GIS analyst level. I work for the graphics department of a small archaeological company. My job consists of digitising plans made in the field, standardising them according to guidelines, then submitting them for review to higher-ups. My organisation previously used AutoCAD, however they are beginning to move towards GIS. This is where my question comes in.
In CAD, the analysts use a template which is pre made and loaded onto a new project when starting. This comes with all of the 'feature classes' needed in order to draw different features (i.e grey polyline for outside of stone, light black and darker black for different stages of features). For text, this also includes ready made text fonts and colours which are standardised for different needs. So, is there a way to do this in ArcGIS Pro, where, say, if i was to start a new project, i could just import the classes from one file, and have everything standardised, including names of feature classes, colours, line width etc.
Thanks,
Sweetprince
