Filter related layers in Experience Builder/WebApp Builder

Hi,

I have a feature class with a related table that I have in an ArcGIS Enterprise map. I want to use Experience Builder or WebApp Builder to filter a field in the related table that will then also filter the map to only the related feature class layers.

Does anybody know how to do this?

Don't take my word as gospel, but I've seen a WAB app that does this and talked to the people who put it together - I believe this requires extension via javascript. There's no native tool to filter map symbols by related records that I'm aware of, at least in WAB but there are some tricky things in ExB that I' still learning, so maybe it's possible there without additions to the code?
