If a user has a multi tier Environment (for example Dev, Quality, Productive) he isn't able to deploy services and other Esri Items over them. This use case is based on usage of referenced DB.

So the idea or better to say the NEED is to have a tool that allows Administrator to deploy items (services, maps, Dashboards, Experience Builder...) form one Environment to other so that the Items are than from construct identical (with taking in account that this could be only then possible if the data construct that is consumed from backend also identical is)

Esri strategy today is, do it manually what doesn't correlate with having a Enterprise Product .

Absolutely agree with this also. The clone_items() method is getting there with the ability to keep the same item ids between portals. Being able to apply this method for services also, or at the stage of publishing a service, to retain IDs if being promoted, would close some gaps here.

Totally agree with this. There should be far better tools available for promoting dev work to staging and production environments.

we have already implemented Custom Solution based on py also with rudimentary GUI. But nevertheless think that Esri should provide more for such Plattform typ.
