Org. Activity report in Portal (just like it is available in AGOL)

ArcGIS Online offers admins the report category "Activity". Portal does not. It only offers "Content", "Members", "Groups" (doc.)

Will "Activity" reports come to Portal in a future version?  Are there other ways to get at similar information?

Eventually yes, the activity report will make its way into Enterprise. Enterprise is usually a couple updates behind ArcGIS Online, so it's hard to say when it will be available. An alternative to try out would be the GIS Reporter tool. It's a free tool that generates a handful of reports to help track usage and configuration across the Enterprise platform https://github.com/dannykrouk/gisenterprisereporter/releases
