Field Order in Dashboard Details

Question

I have a Details element in a Portal Dashboard that is feeding from a layer in a web map. The fields are coming from the pop up as they're supposed to be (I can tell because I have custom expressions in the pop up that are coming through) but the field order is not honoring the pop up and is reverting to the default. As far as I know there's no way to change the order of the fields in a Details element. Is this true or am I missing something?

Edit: It's actually not honoring the default order either. I'm not sure how the order is being defined.

UPDATE:

I figured out a workaround, which is to make the details pull from the layer directly instead of going through the map. It works for this project but generally this is still a problem. Either popup should be able to be used. I'm assuming this is a bug.

I have no idea what order it's using. It seems completely arbitrary. See below.

Note: I confirmed that the details element is pulling from the correct layer.

That is very strange! What order is it using? Alphabetical?
