Problem with the Optimized Hot Spot Analysis

I try to use the Optimized Hot Spot Analysis but the Error:

ERROR 001571: "The analysis options you selected require a minimum of 30 polygons with valid data in the analysis field in order to compute hot and cold spots."

occurs, there are definetely more than 30 Polygons in my Layer. To solve it I tried to set a definition query to kill the NULL-Values in my analysis field. Now its still not working with the same Error.

At the bottom of your table is says 1 of 1410 selected

So the error is correct, you should Clear your selection

oh lord how embarassing ... I didn't know that selecting has an effect on the analysis, I thought it was only for examining the features. Thank you very much!
